Kōpū Sauvignon Blanc

The wine is light straw in colour with aromas of ripe passionfruit, peach and gooseberry. The grapes for this wine came from two sites in the Awatere Valley and were machine-harvested at optimum ripeness to produce a medium-bodied wine with luscious tropical fruit, white peach, and a crisp green apple and lime finish. Lingering hints of red pepper and dried herb flavours round out the palate.
Best enjoyed with contemporary seafood and chicken cuisine, or with Asian inspired flavours. May be cellared for up to 3 years from vintage.
