Jean-Luc Mader Pinot Gris Schlossberg DRY is a rare, final release from the iconic Schlossberg Grand Cru in Alsace. From old east-facing vines on steep granite slopes, this wine offers lifted aromas of peach, apple, and exotic tropical fruits. The palate is rich and textured, balancing ripe fruit with flinty complexity and a cleansing acid line. A hint of struck-match adds depth from extended lees ageing in French oak, including one new barrique. Dry and powerful, this Pinot Gris is perfect now or mid-term cellaring. Enjoy with roasted poultry, pork, or creamy mushroom dishes.
