Vina Ventisquero Vertice Syrah Carménère is a bold Chilean red blend showcasing intense blackberries, black pepper, damp earth, and native forest aromas with a hint of graphite and soft spice. The palate delivers firm structure and silky tannins, balanced by medium to high acidity. Dark fruit and spice flavours unfold beautifully, leading to a persistent, well-rounded finish. Viña Ventisquero was founded in the late 1990s by Gonzalo Vial and has quickly gone on to become one of the countries top wine producers. With a winery based in the coastal Maipo Valley the estate sources grapes from the prestigious Casablanca, Leyda, Colchagua and Apalta Valley regions to produce a range of sought-after, awardwinning wines. Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon and Carménère provide the backbone of the range produced by winemaker Felipe Tossa and consultants Aurelio Montes and ex-Penfolds winemaker, John Duval.
