A deep and vibrant crimson red, this wine from Swan Hill, Victoria, boasts beautiful notes of black olive, red capsicum, leafy eucalyptus character, ripe jammy black fruits, and licorice. The palate is an intense blend of eucalypt, blackcurrant, and ripe jammy fruits. This well-balanced wine features great fruit and oak integration, offering good length, a well-weighted body, and a chalky tannin mouthfeel. Perfectly paired with red meat, cured meat, pork, hard and pungent cheeses, as well as dishes featuring tomato and mushroom, this wine is an excellent companion to a classic beef bourguignon.
