This blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot offers a captivating nose of black olive and cassis, while Petit Verdot tempers the sweeter fruit notes of blackcurrant and blackberry. Though still young, this wine features a smoked capsicum undertone that will mellow with time, revealing a gentle, soft back palate that delights. Perfectly paired with red meat, cured meat, pork, hard cheese, pungent cheese, tomato, and mushroom, try it with a slow-cooked pork shoulder with mushrooms.
