This wine from Victoria offers a nose packed with plum and dark berry flavors, complemented by a touch of black pepper and menthol. On the palate, it delivers big, upfront juicy dark berry fruits, with young chalky tannins coating the mouth. This wine is drinking well now but will soften and integrate beautifully with time in the bottle. Perfectly paired with red meat, cured meat, pork, hard and pungent cheeses, as well as dishes featuring tomato and mushroom. Try it with a hearty tomato and mushroom ragout.
